Who We Are
CUBEL Mandarin Academy is founded by Jane Song who, along with her team, have helped thousands of international students in their cross-cultural studies.
Jane comes from a background in language education, having previously been a university English teacher prior to her life in the UK. Having studied, worked, and lived in the UK for 20+ years, Jane now dedicates herself to cultural exchange projects and sharing her experience and expertise in building intercultural competencies.
Along with being a long-term cultural exchange partner of the University of Edinburgh, Jane is also the primary coordinator of Chinese cultural exchange in the INCiTE summer school programme currently running in partnership with world-renowned universities including the University of Edinburgh, University of Sydney, the University of Amsterdam, and Nanyang Technology University.
Jane has always been passionate about bridging the language and cultural gaps for learners to understand Chinese from a practical perspective. Here at CUBEL Mandarin Academy, we know that learning Mandarin doesn't have to be complicated and overwhelming. Let us show you how.

With CUBEL Mandarin Academy, you will meet a group of like minded mandarin learners and get on to an effective, innovative, and interactive learning journey through online courses, face-to-face workshops, and fun-packed meet-up social events with native Chinese. In this full-of-Chinese-context community, we work together to develop your mandarin language skills, to enhance your intercultural communication competencies, and to enrich your Chinese cultural experiences.
